Dot House

Dot House, Taylors, South Carolina

The Dot House sits on an open, yet quiet street. It is clear that the previous, long term owners took excellent care of their sprawling landscape. Enter the home through the front door and walk into the oversized living area with ample natural light and a whitewashed brick fireplace and custom cedar mantle. Walk under a large brick archway into the expansive kitchen, where no detail was overlooked. There is lots of seating area around the large island, with side shelving, drawers, and secret storage. The farm sink is centered by two sets of custom floating cedar shelves, all on a wall with backsplash climbing to the ceiling. There is a fully brick wall with cabinetry, another archway headed to the back yard (laundry and a powder room are also hidden behind the brick), and a custom depth bar and/or coffee area. The opposite wall includes floor to ceiling cabinetry with a custom storage bench underneath the window for sitting. Wide plank LVT flooring runs through the entire house, aside from the bedrooms. The master bedroom includes a large walk-in closet, and completely refinished bathroom, complete with a large tiled shower and double vanity. The second and third bedroom have a full bath to access through the hall, also with a double vanity. The back yard is fenced, flat, and partially shaded. There is also ample parking.
